地球の歩き方、Magazine Chikyu no arukikata“0 Comments”

　Be Alohaの新ブランド”To Kei”に何人もの方が訪れて下さっているようです。ありがとうございます！

その理由の一つには日本で発売されている”地球の歩き方”のお陰ではないでしょうか？今年も取材に来られました。そんな中で隙を見てフォトグラファーを激写！本屋さんで近日発売のBe Aloha、又はTo Keiのセクションを探してみて下さい。

Hi there. I was so surprised (and delighted) to see that there was such a nice number of visitors who viewed this site. I appreciate it very much. I wonder if it may be because of an article we were featured in? It is a Japanese magazine called ‘Chikyuu no Aruikata’. Perhaps you are familiar with this magazine!

Before the photographer took pictures for the article, I was sneaky enough to get a quick picture of him! Above is the result.

A flower I have spotted while running.冬のランニングと花の素敵な関係“1 Comment”

As I was in the middle of a jog; I found a tiny, fragile, little flower. When people talk about flowers in Hawaii, they have told me that they believe all flowers bloom here. I would like to agree and disagree with what they have said. All of the other tropical flowers such as the Plumerias and Tialies were gone but this flower was still about to blossom.

I felt that the flower represented something. This little flower was patient and strong. Like it was waiting for something.

If you have any information on this flower or the name of it, please let me know!

今日はランニングの途中で小さくて愛らしい花を見つけました。殆どの人はハワイは年中花が咲いていると信じているようですが・・・そうかもしれない、そうじゃないかもしれない。確かにプルメリアやティアリ、他のトロピカルフラワーは何処に行ってしまったのでしょうか？でもこんな花が咲いてました。辛抱強く出番を待っていたみたいにね。

もし名前をご存知の方教えてもらえませんか？

ランニングと夕日のすてきな関係“2 Comments”

”To Kei”は今日も元気です。

今日は私の趣味というか・・・生活の中で欠かすことの出来ない一つランニングの話です。この写真はKaimana Beachというワイキキから少し離れたダイアモンドヘッドの麓のローカルが集まるビーチです。いつものルートを走ってきて、ここで一番きれいな夕日を見れる時間設定をして家を出ます。

この頃だと午後６時過ぎに家を出るとこの低さの夕日に間に合います。夕日を横目で見ながら心の中で今日の夕日はどうだ、こうだ、とひとり論評しています。それにしてもどうして夕日が沈む直前は、まるで重くて持ちきれないような速さでしずむのでしょう。

My Neighbor,となりの彫刻家“0 Comments”

Hi there! Thank you for visiting our site “To Kei”.

So what is today’s topic? Well, I would like to introduce to you my good friend and neighbor: Kazu Fukuda. He is the professor of an art class taught at KCC(Kapiolani Community College). Above is the picture I took of him with his sculpture called ‘Diver with Crab’.

I always feel very lucky to be able to see his new and current works of art in his yard. I have to admit that I always enjoy seeing his fine work.

今日はとなりの彫刻家でありKCC(カピオラニ　コミュニティ　カレッジ）のアートクラスの教授でもあるKAZU FUKUDAさんを紹介します。横の作品は＂ダイバーと蟹＂というタイトルだそうです。彼が作品に掛っている過程を見ることが出来るのはお隣さんの特権ですね。楽しませてもらっています。又彼の作品をUPさせてもらいますね。

Thank you for visiting our site “TO KEI”!

We have pulled of our first trade show in Hawaii with huge success! We also were the most powerful retail store account as well! Many thanks to all of my friends in the fashion industy and also many thanks towards the supporters and coordinaters for the show.

I will continue to keep working hard and focus on the concept of and for my creations.

Trade show in Honolulu,“3 Comments”

みなさん　こんにちは。Tokei に来ていただいて有難うございます。

あっという間に数日が過ぎてしまいましたが、実は昨日からHilton waikiki Hotel でのトレードショウに追われていました。トレードショウというと耳慣れない方も多いと思いますが、業者間で行われる商品買い付けの展示会です。ちょっとプレッシャーがかかった”To Kei”の地元デビューでしたが思った以上の高い評価でした。これからTo Keiがどう育っていくか本当に楽しみです。展示会の写真をUPしました。
